Tirta Sari Bungalows is a mid-level resorts about two minutes' walk from the beach. With a large pool and sprawling gardens, it is an ideal stop for couples or families. The location is hard to beat if you prefer not to rely on transport since most of Pemuteran (and the full stretch of beach) is
just a short stroll away. The gardens are shady, lush and well-tended and the pool is probably the best you’ll find at this price-range.

What's the appeal?

 

Tirta Sari's rooms are spread around a beautiful garden that's been carefully landscaped and looked after. It has a wonderful pool with a separate kiddies' section, and the property is a very short walk from the beach. It's a very relaxing place to stay, and is in a super-convenient location.

Rooms

 

The resort has 20 rooms (ranging from ‘standard’ – with aircon or fan – to ‘deluxe’ with a private garden). On various trips we've stayed in the standard and the superior rooms – both are very comfortable, and the main difference being the quality of bathroom. All are comfortable and well furnished and have large open-air bathrooms with (hot) showers and comfortable terraces. Every room comes complete with a mosquito net although in the various times we’ve stayed here we’ve never needed to use it.

Facilities

 

There is a restaurant and bar (plus a pool bar) on the resort. If you plan to stay a couple of days order suckling pig a day in advance! Tirta Sari also own a convenience store (a minute's walk up to the main road). Be sure to check out the (highly recommended) spa or borrow a good book from the resort’s library and chill out by the pool. There is a small covered area where you could practise yoga, but it's not very private. The resort can rent motorbikes and cars and can arrange diving tours to
Menjangan Island and elsewhere or to the national park. WiFi is available throughout the property. The staff are welcoming and obliging and will help with any questions.

Location

 

Perfect. Tirta Sari Bungalows is a one-minute walk from the beach and the Biorock snorkelling/diving site, and a one-minute to the main road where there is a wide range of eateries. It’s right in the centre of Pemuteran yet still feels secluded and peaceful.
