A minimum stay at Amertha Bali Villas is two nights… but what’s the hurry? This place is a destination in its own right, and you could settle in and stay here for your entire holiday without feeling the need to go farther. If you’re tempted to get active and explore the area, however, this property is perfectly located for snorkelling/diving and for land-based excursions.

What's the appeal?

 

Amertha Bali Villas is situated right on the beach, so you can be snorkelling within moments of leaving your comfortable suite. Those who're wanting to dive or learn to dive will appreciate that the dive operator based on the property adheres to European standards and the equipment, gear and safety standards are among the highest in the area.

Suites

 

The 14 suites are all spacious and attractively decorated. The three Oceanfront Villas offer wonderful sea-views across the lawn, and there are 11 Garden View Villas. All have comfortable lounging areas and a kitchenette but the major drawcards are certainly the private pools with gazebos. Breakfast is included and is served at the beachside restaurant. Each suite has tea/coffee facilities, TV and aircon and there is Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Facilities

 

With private pools attached to each suite it would seem to be unnecessary to have another large pool (with even more daybeds!) down near the beach – but Amertha Bali Villas seems to be wonderfully geared towards offering everything you could possibly demand for a comfortable stay, and if you prefer a more sociable pool scene then the big pool near the beach is for you. There are also two restaurants (The Prana Restaurant and the beachfront Amertha Restaurant) and a separate spa building offering a range of massages and pampering sessions. Cycle rental, activities and tours can be arranged by the helpful staff.

Location

 

Located in an ideal spot on Pemuteran’s pretty bay, just a minute’s walk from the snorkelling reef but with easy access (no coral) to the sea for swimming right in front of the resort. Despite a luxuriously secluded atmosphere, the resort’s central location (about halfway along Pemuteran’s main street) means that you are within an easy stroll of most of the town’s bars and restaurants.
